the story behind the edit

the Balear edit was created to celebrate the people, craftsmanship and creativity that shape the identity of the Balearic Islands.

Beyond their landscapes, the islands are home to remarkable artisans, independent designers, traditional fincas and generations of knowledge that deserve to be discovered and preserved. This is the side of the Balearics that has always inspired me.

Born and raised in Barcelona, I moved to Ibiza more than two decades ago. What began as a new chapter became a life deeply rooted in the Balearic Islands. It was there that I made my home, where my children were born, and where I formed lasting relationships with the people, makers and places that continue to inspire the Balear edit today. Today, based in Mallorca, I continue exploring Mallorca, Menorca, Ibiza and Formentera with the same curiosity and admiration that first brought me here.

After many years working as a fashion stylist and creative director, I realised that what I love most isn’t simply creating beautiful images, but discovering exceptional people, meaningful stories and timeless craftsmanship, then bringing them together in a thoughtful and authentic way.

Today, the Balear edit is a reflection of that journey, a carefully curated collection of authentic experiences, private sourcing, creative direction and access to a side of the islands that is rarely seen.

Because the Balearic Islands were never just a destination for me.

They became home.
